Cancellation Policy

We know that sometimes things happen, trips change, or weather can ruin plans. We get it. So all riders can cancel a trip without any penalty.

Rider cancellation

When a rider needs to cancel his motorcycle rental, we offer two options:

  1. We will transfer all initial rental costs into the rider's Twisted Road account. These credits can be used to rent a motorcycle in the future and they don't expire.
  2. We will offer a credit card refund on the rental and purchased protection plans. We will not refund our service fee as this is a non-refundable charge.

Any rides canceled within 24 hours of the beginning of the trip start time will result in a penalty as follows:

  1. One-day trips: no refunds or credits awarded. Rider loses all funds paid
  2. Two days or longer trips: rider loses 50% of the funds paid if he chooses riding credit, or 50% of all funds paid after deducting the community fee from the total trip cost

Same-day cancellations by the rider will result in a $50 fee to the rider in addition to the above terms.

Owners of motorcycles that have a same-day cancellation will be compensated as follows:

  1. If the ride was a one-day ride, they will receive 50% of the payout amount
  2. If the ride is a 2+ day trip, the owner receives one full day of payout, not-adjusted for multi-day.

NO SHOWS ARE NOT REFUNDED ANYTHING. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THE RIDE, PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE CAN HELP PROVIDE CREDITS.

Owner cancellation

On occasion, owners have to cancel a scheduled motorcycle rental. This happens when a motorcycle is in the shop, or on rare cases, when the motorcycle has been sold. When this happens, we immediately work with the rider to find a suitable backup motorcycle for his travels.
