Messaging and Notifications
TRIP NOTIFICATIONS
When a rider submits a request to book or to modify a trip, Twisted Road sends the owner a message and notifies the rider of the owner's response. These notifications happen through text and through email. In addition, both rider and owner also receive a notification in their Dashboard. Riders can read more about booking a motorcycle and making changes to a trip.
Twisted Road may also notify riders and owners about other account and trip activity, such as:
- Upcoming trip start and end times
- Trip cancellations
- Reminders to extend a trip
- Reminders to refuel and clean the motorcycle before returning it
GETTING IN TOUCH WITH AN OWNER BEFORE BOOKING A TRIP
If you need to get in touch with an owner before booking, just communicate through the site. You can easily send a message to any owner or rider before renting a bike.
