Starting a Trip With a Rider

To begin a trip, please go to the Twisted Road platform and click on DASHBOARD. Once in your dashboard, you'll be able to review upcoming reservations. The ride itinerary will guide you through the "check-in process" and starting a trip.

Please make sure you do the following things:

VERIFY THE RIDER

Ask to see the rider's driver's license. Compare the image on the license to that of the rider, and compare the name on the license to the rental reservation. If any of these don't match, please contact Twisted Road and end the rental. 

Once the driver's license has been validated, take a picture of the license next to the odometer before the ride starts. Make sure that both the license and the odometer reading are clear.

DOCUMENT EXISTING CONDITION

Walk around the motorcycle and capture images from all angles of the bike. Make sure you capture all existing damage and imperfections. Pre-ride documentation is required should there ever be a damage claim.

REVIEW THE BIKE WITH THE RIDER

Spend a few minutes reviewing the motorcycle and it's nuances with the rider. Is there storage he should know about? Does it act funky in certain conditions? Are there wheel locks, gas locks, or other items that the rider needs to understand?

Once this is all done, proceed with starting the trip in Twisted Road. The ride has begun.
